IN HONOR OF JULY 4TH

Today is July 4th and instead of 5 question Friday I thought about what it takes to become a United States citizen.

When immigrants want to become Americans, they must take a civics test as part of their naturalization interview before a Citizenship and Immigration Services (INS) officer. The questions are usually selected from a list of 100 sample questions that prospective citizens can look at ahead of the interview (though the examiner is not limited to those questions). Candidates are not given multiple choices in the naturalization interview, which is conducted orally.

Check out the test....Here is the link just copy and paste and good luck(hope your accepted in the United States)(lol) http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13442226/
I know I need to go with my first instinct and I need to remember how hard it is to pass that test for all immigrants that want to become a United States citizen.

So, I miss daughter #1 and hope she is enjoying the sites of Washington Monument and the music that is being played there along with all the beautiful fireworks tonight so that picture is in her honor...

Also, tonight when we are sitting up looking at the stars watching the fireworks I hope that we all pray for our service personnel here and overseas and their families for protecting our country and our freedom.....

GOD BLESS AMERICA

While the storm clouds gather far across the sea,
Let us swear allegiance to a land that's free,
Let us all be grateful for a land so fair,
As we raise our voices in a solemn prayer. "

God Bless America,
Land that I love.
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America, My home sweet home
